Each Pair of Astorflex Shoes Is Made In Our Own Facilities From A to Z

From the materials to the final product, each Astorflex shoe is made in our own facilities located in Castel d'Ario, Mantova, Italy.

All the materials we use are sustainably sourced as close as our factory as possible.

The lining and insoles are made of vegetable-tanned calf leather, obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water, powdered oak bark, and mimosa, without using dyes or color finishes.

This process makes the leather healthier, hypoallergenic, and guarantees greater sweat absorption for dry, odorless feet. Most of our soles are made of natural rubber, consisting of coagulated latex from the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). The various shoe parts are assembled using water-based adhesives.

In our own factory, we sometimes also manufacture shoes for other carefully selected brands, create special brand collaborations, and use our facilities as a creative shoemaking hub.

Our CEO Fabio Travenzoli, and the staff are constantly designing new collections and finding ways to improve the ways of shoemaking, utilizing the vast Astorflex history as an inspiration.
